Which transfer fits a shirt, and which fits a bottle?
A shirt and a bottle carrying the same logo need different transfer products. DTF transfers are pressed onto compatible garments and fabric with a heat press. UV-DTF transfers, also called UV-DTF stickers or decals, apply to smooth hard surfaces such as glass, acrylic, plastic and metal, and they need no heat press.

UV-DTF is not for fabric. Test an unfamiliar object surface before you order a large quantity.
How do you count decorations, tests and reserves?
Make one row per design and printed size, and record four quantities on each row: pieces required for the project, pieces for testing, deliberate reserves and the resulting order total. Garment size labels do not automatically set transfer dimensions, so enter the real width and height of each graphic in inches.
Hypothetical example: 24 shirts each need one front logo. You choose two transfers for testing and two as reserves: 24 + 2 + 2 = 28 transfers. Separately, 12 bottles need one decal each; one test decal and one reserve make 14 decals. These allowances are example choices, not a recommended rate or proof that one test establishes every material’s compatibility.
If artwork sizes vary, split the rows before adding totals. Decide which reserves are useful for each design and size instead of applying an invented percentage to every project.

How do you match the artwork to the order?
When you arrange a gang sheet, include the actual number of copies you need on the submitted layout. When you order individual transfers, check the selected quantity against your worksheet. Keep garment transfers and object decals clearly labeled so the person applying them does not mix them up.
Review each finished file at its printed size with the artwork guide. For raster images, aim for about 300 pixels per inch at the size you will print; vector files suit logos and lettering that must scale. Leave in any white that is part of the design and clear only the background that should not print.
A screen and a printed transfer will not look identical. If a brand color matters, test a piece on the real garment or object before you approve the full quantity. We review Pantone® references against our measured data before production. If the requested color is outside the measured range, we can discuss a printable option for your approval. Record what was used and what remains after the project. Future orders can use that actual record instead of repeating an earlier allowance unchecked.
What do DTF and UV-DTF transfers cost?
For transfers by size, choose an offered size and quantity, then review the price per transfer and total. Gang sheets use the separate rates listed below.
- DTF gang sheets: $0.02 per sq in on sheets 24.5 in wide. A 24.5 × 24 in sheet is $11.49, and sheets start at $2.99 for 24.5 × 6 in.
- DTF transfers by size: the product page shows the price per transfer and total for your selected size and quantity.
- UV-DTF gang sheets: $0.04 per sq in on sheets 23 in wide. A 23 × 24 in sheet is $22.49, and sheets start at $5.99 for 23 × 6 in.
