For a multi-design job, keep a separate specification for each artwork version, final size and quantity. Record the object, decal position and orientation for each specification.

Prepare each design, size and quantity

1. Measure the usable exterior area of the actual hard-surface object and choose the intended final dimensions.
2. Prepare the artwork at those dimensions, preserving proportions and intentional white details.
3. Prepare a separate specification for each design and final size, with the quantity required.
4. Use the ordering controls to submit the artwork and review the accepted width, height and quantity.
5. Review the item amount and transfer subtotal before approving payment. If a configuration is not accepted, resolve it before ordering.

Which bottles, jars and containers can I label?

UV-DTF is for suitable smooth, rigid surfaces, not fabric. For a bottle, jar or other object, identify the exact material, finish and intended use before choosing the transfer.

UV-DTF is not intended for fabric. Use DTF transfers for garments.

• Bottles: measure the straight part of the wall, between the curve at the shoulder and the curve at the base.
• Jars and candle containers: keep the label centered on the flattest area if the jar tapers or bulges.
• Tins, tumblers and souvenir items: avoid handles, rims, seams and raised texture.

Size the decal for a measured hard-surface area

Measure the usable exterior area of the actual object. Identify the material and coating, and check for curves, handles, holes and edges. Use the square references to compare the design with the measured usable area of the object.

Preserve proportions and review the quoted dimensions

Keep the artwork's shape. Check its complete boundary and any transparent margins before approving a fit or crop. Review the final design size, the dimensions used for the quote, the quantity, the price per transfer and the transfer subtotal.

A flat-panel illustration cannot prove that a design will wrap around a curved or tapered object. The preview is not actual size. For cups, use the actual blank and its usable wall measurements rather than capacity alone.

What is a UV-DTF label made of, and is there label stock?

A UV-DTF label is a printed transfer, not paper or plastic label stock. The design moves from its carrier to the container, and only the printed artwork stays on the surface, so you choose the container rather than a label material. Labels go on by hand, one at a time, with no heat press.

Clean and dry the surface, align carefully, apply full pressure, and remove the carrier using current instructions. Confirm the care instructions and any waiting time for your exact transfer and decorated item before cleaning or use. Application quality and surface compatibility remain part of final performance.

How do I design a label for UV-DTF printing?

Set up the artwork at the final label size with a transparent background and keep intentional white elements. Use enough real pixels at final size, about 300 pixels per inch, or a clean vector source for logos and lettering. A PNG can preserve transparency but does not create resolution, so do not enlarge a low-resolution file just because the container has room for a larger label.

• Remove only the exterior area that should not print; keep white lettering, highlights and borders.
• Convert live fonts to outlines in vector files and embed linked images.
• Check spelling, names, numbers and dates before you upload.
• Review glows, shadows, soft edges, fine gaps and isolated pixels.

What should I check before labeling food, drink, cosmetics or candles?

Confirm the label-content rules for your product category, such as ingredients, warnings or alcohol labeling, before you finalize the artwork, then send us the approved file. A UV-DTF label is a branding and information graphic on the outside of the container; the content it must carry is set by your product category.

How fast can I get custom label stickers?

Qualifying, paid, approved, print-ready weekday orders placed by 2:00 PM ET can receive same-day production, subject to capacity. Same-day production applies to qualifying, approved, print-ready orders and is not shipping or delivery. Pickup is coordinated only after we confirm your order is ready, and shipping is calculated at checkout.

Who orders custom label stickers by size?

When should I use a gang sheet instead of ordering by size?

Order by size when you have a few defined designs, each with its own quantity. A fixed or rolling gang sheet may become more efficient when many designs, sizes, or copies need to share one production canvas. UV-DTF gang sheets are priced by the configured sheet; a 23 × 24 in sheet is $22.49.
