This route is useful when each design needs its own width, height, quantity, and tracking. A gang sheet may be more efficient when many decals can share a canvas and you plan to cut them separately.

Do not assume one universal longest-side rule. Enter the dimensions shown by this product and preserve artwork proportions unless a shape change is intentional. Confirm the physical object and available application area before ordering.

The Object Must Be Suitable for UV-DTF

Smoothness, coating, curvature, cleaning, chemical exposure, abrasion, washing, and outdoor conditions affect adhesion. Test unfamiliar or critical surfaces before ordering a large quantity. UV-DTF is not intended for fabric.

Clean Edges and Deliberate White

Keep white elements that belong to the design and remove only the exterior area that should not print. PNG can preserve transparency but does not create resolution. Use enough real pixels at final size or a clean vector source where appropriate.

Price by Area with No Minimum

Standard UV-DTF pricing is $0.04 per square inch. The current width, height, quantity, and product configuration determine the displayed price before checkout. There is no standard minimum quantity.

Apply without a Heat Press

Clean and dry the surface, align carefully, apply full pressure, and remove the carrier using current instructions. Allow the decal to stabilize before washing, rubbing, or exposure. Application quality and surface compatibility remain part of final performance.

Production is completed in a G7 Master Qualified facility (ID 534486). Qualifying weekday orders by 2:00 PM ET can receive same-day production when paid, approved, print-ready, and within capacity.

Measure the usable application area, not the entire object

UV-DTF by-size ordering is built around the final decal dimensions. On a flat sign, the usable area may be obvious. On a tumbler, bottle, box, container, or curved promotional item, the usable area can be reduced by handles, rims, seams, tapers, panels, or texture. Measure the exact location where the decal will lie flat.

Record width, height, quantity, orientation, object, and artwork version for every unique line item. If the same logo appears in several sizes or orientations, treat each as a separate specification.

Area pricing and object fit

Standard UV-DTF pricing is $0.04 per square inch. A 3 × 4 inch decal covers 12 square inches. The calculation makes price transparent, but it does not determine whether the decal fits the real object. A buyer should measure the object first and use the resulting width and height in the order.

Do not enlarge a low-resolution raster file just because the object has room for a larger decal. Confirm actual pixels at final size, edge quality, intentional white, and real transparency.

  • Avoid important details across seams, tapers, and handles.
  • Confirm whether the entered dimensions are width × height.
  • Keep a few controlled replacements for event or retail programs.

When a gang sheet becomes the better choice

By-size ordering is clear for a small set of individual decals. A fixed or rolling gang sheet may become more efficient when many designs, sizes, or copies need to share one production canvas. Compare the administrative simplicity of line items with the layout control of a gang sheet.

Whichever route is used, the final user owns surface preparation and application. No-heat application does not mean universal compatibility.

Decision rule: choose by size for a few defined decals; choose a builder when the order becomes a mixed production inventory.
