A UV DTF gang sheet is one production sheet that holds many UV-DTF decals, so several designs, sizes or copies print together and are cut apart afterward. UV-DTF is short for UV direct-to-film: each decal is a full-color printed transfer that you apply by hand to a smooth hard surface, without a heat press.

A UV DTF gang sheet is for smooth hard surfaces and a standard DTF gang sheet is for garments. The two products use different sheets, prices and application methods.

UV-DTF is not intended for fabric. For shirts, hoodies and uniforms, use DTF transfers.

Which UV-DTF ordering option should I use?

Use the fixed canvas when you know the production size and want a complete visual layout. Choose another path when your file or your order looks different.

How do I plan the sheet around the objects?

A fixed UV-DTF gang sheet should begin with the physical objects that will receive the decals. Record the usable flat area, desired orientation, copy count, and any boundary created by handles, seams, tapers, rims, or raised texture. Then arrange the decals inside the selected production canvas.

The object plan prevents a common mismatch: a decal may fit inside the purchased sheet but still be too large for the intended cup, bottle, box, sign, or promotional item. The fixed builder controls the production canvas; it does not automatically validate the application surface.

Can the builder tell me if my surface is compatible?

No. The builder cannot determine surface compatibility. Confirm that the final object has an appropriate smooth hard surface. Texture, coatings, curves, contamination, washing, abrasion, solvents, and outdoor exposure can change adhesion. Test unfamiliar or critical surfaces before a large order.

Flexible items, heavy texture, silicone-like materials, or uncertain coatings require additional evaluation. Send a clear description or photo through WhatsApp before a critical order.

How do I prepare artwork for a UV DTF gang sheet?

UV-DTF can reproduce full-color artwork with white, but white artwork and transparent space are different instructions. Remove only the area that should not print. Preserve intentional white text, highlights, borders, and graphic elements, and verify that a checkerboard background is not baked into the file.

PNG can preserve transparency but does not create resolution, so use enough real pixels at final size, about 300 pixels per inch, or a clean vector source. • Use the final object dimensions before setting decal size.
• Keep important details away from handles, seams, and heavy curvature.
• Confirm every design remains inside the fixed production canvas.
• Very small isolated elements, narrow gaps, thin reverse lettering, and detached punctuation may be difficult to handle during application.

• Save the approved sheet and object record for replacements.

How much space should I leave between decals?

Leave practical separation for cutting, sorting and handling. Maximum density is not useful when decals become difficult to cut, sort, align, or apply. A well-planned fixed sheet combines accurate object sizing, complete quantities, and practical separation.

How do I apply UV DTF gang sheet decals?

Clean and dry the surface, align carefully, apply full pressure, and remove the carrier using the current product instructions. Allow the application to stabilize before washing, abrasion, or exposure. UV-DTF applies without a heat press, but the final user still needs a clean, dry, compatible surface and controlled pressure.
