The Custom DTF Sample Gang Sheet is one 24.5 × 24 in sheet printed with your artwork through our regular DTF production process. It costs $10 with shipping included to the contiguous US, and it is limited to one per customer. One sheet can hold several designs, so bring the brand colors, fine details and gradients that matter to your work. How do I test the sample before a bigger South Miami order?

1. Put the designs, colors and fine details that matter to your work on the sheet, at the sizes you plan to print them.
2. Press the transfers on the garments you actually use and peel hot, following the DTF pressing guide.
3. Check your important colors, the edges, the fine detail and the feel of the print.
4. Write down the press settings that worked, so the full order starts from a known recipe.
5. Decide, then place the full order with the same artwork.

Garments and a heat press are not included with the sample.

What is a DTF transfer logo?

A DTF transfer logo is your logo printed in full color on film with a white layer and adhesive, ready to press onto a garment. It can be a chest mark, a sleeve mark or a back print. It presses onto cotton, polyester and blends, and coated or unusual fabrics need a test. Peel hot, as the pressing guide describes: lift the film while it is still warm.

What files and color references work for DTF?

Use PNG for transparent raster art, PDF, SVG or AI for logos and text, and PSD or TIFF for editable raster sources. JPG works as a reference, but it cannot hold true transparency. Build the file at the size you will print, with about 300 pixels per inch when practical, in RGB/sRGB color. Screen colors and printed colors differ, so for a critical brand color send a clear reference before you order and judge the result on your sample.

Heat transfer vinyl or DTF: which suits my South Miami project?

It depends on the artwork and the quantity. DTF suits detailed full-color designs, photos and mixed sizes, and it needs no screen. Cut vinyl suits simple one-color lettering, screen printing can fit a very large run of an unchanging design, and embroidery gives a stitched, dimensional look.
