Window Decals for Business: UV-DTF for Doors, Glass, Counters and Displays

Quick answer: Window decals for business put your logo, hours, phone and QR code on glass doors, windows, counters and displays in full color. UV-DTF decals go on by hand, with no heat press and no minimum. Transfer305 prints them in Miami: a 12 x 4 in hours decal is $2.88 and a 10 x 10 in logo is $6.00.

Business window decals are a job for UV-DTF stickers, also searched as DTF stickers. The print transfers onto the glass and the carrier peels away, so the glass around your logo stays clear and the design looks printed right on it.

Window decals for business: what to put on the glass

Your door and front windows work as a sign before anyone walks in. Use them to answer the questions customers would otherwise call about.

  • Your logo and business name
  • Opening hours
  • Phone, WhatsApp and website
  • A QR code that opens your menu, booking page or reviews
  • Short notices such as "Walk-ins welcome" or "Order online"
  • Brand graphics for glass partitions and interior doors

UV-DTF handles all of it in full color, with white ink, gradients and small type, no minimum and same-day production on qualifying orders.

Which side of the glass?

Plan each decal for the side of the glass people read it from.

Who reads it Where the decal goes Typical uses
Customers inside Inside face of the glass Glass partitions, interior doors, counter glass, display cases
People outside Ask us before ordering: the outside face meets weather and window cleaning, or the design can be read through the glass Entry door hours, street-facing logo, window QR code

For anything read from the street, tell us how the door faces and we will confirm the right setup before you order.

Door decals for business: logo, hours, phone and QR code

A good door layout reads top to bottom: logo or name, then hours, then phone, website and QR code. Keep the hours short and the type large enough to read from the sidewalk.

  • Logo: a 10 x 10 in logo is $6.00 by size.
  • Hours or suite name: a 12 x 4 in decal holds a short hours block or a suite name for $2.88 by size.
  • QR code: a 3 x 3 in QR sticker is $0.54 by size. Our guide to QR code stickers for business covers code size and scan rules.

Counters, displays and acrylic stands

The same decals brand the inside of the shop. Put your logo on a glass counter front, a menu or promo on an acrylic stand, and graphics on display cases, plastic dispensers and metal fixtures.

An 8 x 10 in graphic for an acrylic stand is $4.80 by size, and a single design can go on every stand in the store. UV-DTF is for smooth, hard surfaces, not fabric, so test one piece on any surface you have not used before.

What about floor decals?

Walk-on floor graphics need a slip-rated floor film tested to UL 410. One major film maker's floor-graphic bulletin requires an average static coefficient of friction of 0.5 (0.45 individual) under UL 410, using slip-rated floor films or overlaminates. UV-DTF is for doors, windows, counters and displays, not walk-on floors.

What business window decals cost

You pay for area. Decals ordered by size are $0.06 per square inch, and a fixed gang sheet, 23 inches wide, works out from $0.04 per square inch.

Lettering five suites or offices? Five 12 x 4 in name decals cost $14.40 by size, or $11.49 on one 23 x 12 in sheet in the UV-DTF gang sheet builder. For one or two large pieces, by size can cost less than a fixed sheet; for many small promo decals, a gang sheet costs less per piece. Sheet counts are grid estimates with 1/4 inch gaps; your layout in the builder gives the real count before checkout.

How to apply window decals on glass

  1. Clean the glass, dry it fully and wipe the spot once more so no streaks, oil or dust remain.
  2. Mark a level line with a strip of tape where the bottom edge of the decal will sit.
  3. Slowly separate the backing so the design stays on the clear top film.
  4. Line the decal up with the tape and press it down in the middle.
  5. Rub firmly from the middle out to the edges until the whole decal is down.
  6. If a bubble appears, lift that area gently, re-lay it and rub again.
  7. Pull the carrier away slowly in one smooth motion, holding it low against the glass.
  8. Let the decal settle before you clean the glass over it.

Frequently asked questions

What should a business put on its front door?

Your logo or name, opening hours, phone or WhatsApp, website and a QR code that opens your menu, booking page or reviews. Keep it short so it reads at a glance, logo on top and contact details below.

Do window decals go on the inside or outside?

Decals read from inside the shop go on the inside face, for partitions, interior doors and display cases. For street-facing hours and logos, ask us before ordering: the decal either sits on the outside face, where it meets weather and window cleaning, or is read through the glass from the inside.

How much do business window decals cost?

By size, a 12 x 4 in hours decal is $2.88 and a 10 x 10 in logo is $6.00. A storefront set with a logo, hours and two QR stickers comes to $9.96. There is no minimum.

Can I get window decals the same day in Miami?

Qualifying print-ready orders placed by 2:00 PM ET, Monday to Friday, get same-day production, and you can pick up once we confirm the order is ready. That is production timing, not delivery.

Are UV-DTF decals removable?

Ask us before ordering if you will need to take a decal down later, for example at the end of a lease. For short promos you plan to change often, read UV-DTF vs removable vinyl for temporary branding.

Can UV-DTF be used as a floor decal?

No. Walk-on floor graphics need a slip-rated floor film tested to UL 410. Use UV-DTF on doors, windows, counters and displays.
